	Well, I was also thinking of roses- namely of the red, pink, burgundy, and coral variety. A lady should always get flowers-just often enough that she feels cared for, not so often that they don't come as a surprise. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Ahah good point. However, I am too sad when I see flowers in a bouquet and I either go for fake flowers or for 'alive' flowers [ie, plants you can put in your garden]. No wonder my garden is full of tulips, it's gonna look like The Netherlands once the Spring fully blooms :P (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	Weeeelllll...there is a few places near where I live that make leather roses (some of them in the neatest of colors), and I try and buy a few under the principal that all I really need to do to care for them is dust occasionally and they look nice as well. And, for first dates they make great conversation starters. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

Being REALLY picky, I would say that leather roses don't kill indeed a rose, but most probably they come from a COW :P

I've seen one during last year's shoots [pictures aren't online yet, no wonder you didn't see them].

A black leather rose, perfectly crafted. I gave my mom a wooden rose as a present last autumn too, it's very nice as well. Looks like a real rose, it's just the smell that's missing.

My next step is probably a rubber rose. We'll see :D

	Latex roses! Perfect! (Actually, this could work...probably would have to shape the outsides of the petals with very thin rounded wire so they keep their shape, wrap the edge of the latex around and heat-seal it in...) Besides, they've already done the cow in-might as well make the most of it so nothings put to waste. (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)

	I believe Anatomic Bomb made some latex outfits featuring latex roses..? I should check, however I am quite sure it has been done already. Good, this means I have one more chance of getting them somewhere :P (Reply to this)(Parent)(Thread)
